Using the sensory functions, sight and taste, these trained specialists constantly monitor availability, price, specification and quality, reporting back to Head Office based staff using the latest hand held digital technology. 

This initiative introduces a branded food, manufactured mentality to what is after all a non manufactured product. An understanding of the wishes and requirements of the consumer is taken back to the supplier. The fruit is taken from the tree for the benefit of the consumer and then feedback is sent, full circle, to the grower. This approach assists with varietal development and results in a benefit for all parties, grower, customer and consumer. 

Based across the UK the four members of the team use their knowledge and experience of fruit to give our customers a competitive edge. The information they provide can therefore be used by the company in connection with programmes, promotional activity, range changes and retail price alterations. The team acts as a separate and independent presence in store; with retailers being given the opportunity to make the team aware of things to look out for.
